Pre-K / Kindergarten Program
Little Trails is pleased to offer a pre-k/kindergarten for our 5 and 6 year olds! Our program not only prepares children for kindergarten, but also extends the learning of those students in half day, public kindergarten classes. Our curriculum in this classroom includes pre-reading skills, number sense and awareness and exploration of the environment. Our teachers use the state standards to build a rich and engaging program. The Little Trails program goes beyond play and academics. It includes sharing, turn-taking, problem-solving, playing cooperatively, effective communications, listening, trying new things, awareness of our self in relation to others, and building self-esteem. |
